Dear Brothers and Sisters, Loving Sairam to all of you. As you may know, from June 14-17, 2013, the states of Uttarkhand and Himachal Pradesh in Northern India suffered devastating rainfall, floods and landslides. Over 100,000 people have been rendered homeless and over 1,000 people have died as a result of this. About 70,000 pilgrims and tourists have been stranded. Many devotees and officers of the Sathya Sai International organization expressed interest to participate in the relief efforts provided by the Sathya Sai service organization of India.
The attached letter gives the information regarding the current relief efforts and how we can join them in this noble humanitarian relief work.
We pray to our beloved Lord Sai to shower His Divine Blessings on all those afflicted from the ravages of this natural disaster. By the grace of Swami let us serve those in need with love, humility and dedication.
