North – San Diego

OM Sai Ram
And welcome to the Sathya Sai Baba Center of North San Diego. We would like to encourage your interest and participation in a wide range of activities and service opportunities which are open to all. As with all activities involving Sathya Sai Baba, whom you may hear referred to as Swami or Baba, there is absolutely no cost or “collection” of any kind. Donations are neither requested nor accepted. For those who do not know, Swami’s teachings are non-sectarian, focusing on the unity of all faith and the brotherhood of man.

The North San Diego Center holds devotional meeting on Monday evenings. The center opens at 7 pm at which time we show a video on Swami, his work and/or his teachings. Devotional singing (bhajans) begin at 7:30 and last approximately 45 minutes to one hour. We will sometime have special guest speak immediately following bhajans. For further information on our devotional programs, please contact our devotional coordinator, Chitra at 760- 436-2230.

We have a weekly service project at the center every Sunday morning at 9:30 am. At that time we assemble food packages for the homeless and underprivileged. In additional to our weekly service project, we also collect household goods, blankets and clean clothing which are distributed to local churches and other community outreach agencies. We also have a wonderful monthly project wherein we share our joy of song with the elderly at a local convalescent home. The North San Diego Center continually looks for opportunities to serve our community and fellow beings in meaningful ways. For more information on our service projects, please contact our service coordinator Richard at 760-434-7208.
