Sri Sathya Sai International Organization (SSSIO) is happy to announce the online celebration of the 2021 Chinese New Year (CNY) on February 13, 2021. It is traditionally a time to bring families together, sharing blessings with all loved ones. It has become the most widely celebrated occasion in the world for over a thousand years, and has been celebrated in the divine presence of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba since 1997. According to the Chinese calendar, this Year is the year of the Ox which represents incredible physical, mental, and emotional strength and stamina.
The SSSIO Online program will be held as per following schedule:
- February 13, 2021 8:30 PM Malaysia Time – 4:30 AM PST: convenient for SSSIO Zones 4A, 4B, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9A, 9B and UK & Ireland.
- February 13, 2021 2 PM PST: convenient for SSSIO Zones 1, 2A, 2B, and 3.

The link https://www.sathyasai.org/live will open at 7:30 AM February 20, 2021 with Darshan of Bhagawan, Bhajans, and a Discourse. Gayatri chanting will begin at 8:00 AM.
Specific time slots are recommended for every Zone and are given below. Devotees can also join the chanting at any time. We urge as many SSSIO members as possible, from all Zones, to participate in the first two hours and closing two hours of the Global Akhanda Gayatri chanting.
Gayatri is a universal prayer that is addressed to the immanent and transcendent divine. The Gayatri Mantra is sacred and is considered the mother of Vedas. It is non-denominational and can be chanted by anyone to illumine the intellect. Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba has emphasized that chanting of the Gayatri Mantra is good for spiritual seekers everywhere, irrespective of nationality, race, religion, faith, and gender. Gayatri will protect us wherever we are. It also prevents and cures diseases, wards off miseries, and fulfills good desires. Gayatri brings peace to the individual, the family, the society, the nation, the world, and the whole universe.
I pray to Bhagawan to bless us with devotion and dedication to chant this mantra with love and one-pointedness.
“Sarva-roga nivaarini Gayatri” (Gayatri is the reliever of all diseases). “Sarva-dhukha parivaarini Gayatri” (Gayatri wards off all misery). “Sarva-vaancha phalashri Gayatri” (Gayatri is the fulfiller of all desires). Gayatri is the bestower of all that is beneficial. If the mantra is chanted, various kinds of powers will emerge in one.
