Gayatri is a universal prayer that is addressed to the immanent and transcendent divine.
The Gayatri Mantra is sacred and is considered the mother of Vedas. It is non-denominational and can be chanted by anyone to illumine the intellect. Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba has emphasized that chanting of the Gayatri Mantra is good for spiritual
seekers everywhere, irrespective of nationality, race, religion, faith, and gender. Gayatri will protect us wherever we are. It also prevents and cures diseases, wards off miseries, and fulfills good desires. Gayatri brings peace to the individual, the family, the society, the nation, and the whole universe.

The Sathya Sai International Organisation (SSIO) is happy to announce the online Global Akhanda Bhajans which is twenty-four-hour continuous devotional singing all over the world. The bhajans will start from 14th November 2020, 6:00 PM – 15th November 2020, 6:00 PM Pacific Standard Time (California Time). Please use the link https://www.sathyasai.org/live to join the Akhanda Bhajans and sing aloud the glory of God that will charge the atmosphere with divine adoration.
In His divine discourse on 21 April 1967, Swami says “For the major infection of asaanthi (anxiety), the course of treatment is bhajan.”
Please see specific time slots for each zone to lead the bhajans. All devotees are welcome to join anytime during the 24 hours and enjoy the bliss of singing the glories of the Lord.
